Vick, Falcons want to get deeper in the playoffs this year
GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Part quarterback, part cultural icon, Michael Vick opened training camp for the Atlanta Falcons with a compelling burden: What's he going to do for an encore?
In his first season as a starter, Vick merely led his team to the playoffs, transformed the way his position is played and, oh yeah, began to establish himself as a marketing tour de force.
A new Michael for the post-Jordan generation.
Now, he's got to live up to the all the hype....
