Tackling Dummy was in the extreme minority that he wanted the Bills to draft Patrick Peterson or AJ Green... I think X era was a big fan of Blaine Gabbert

Yes. No doubt the 2011 class was absolutely incredible. There are literally top notch players throughout the top 12 (minus the qbs other than cam newton)

They were also my 2 favorite players in that draft, and I caught a TON of **** at the Range for suggesting PP was worth the 3rd overall pick.

I think you got tons of flak because Bills fans were DB tired... They took a DB in the 1st round in 2006 and 2008 and both (Whitner and Mckelvin) weren't as good as their draft status... PP was thought by some to be a 'Once a decade Cornerback" and for the most part he has lived up to that billing..

off topic.
Just watched all episodes of "all or nothing". Heartbreaker when Petersen dropped the punt right when the momentum was switching to the Cards in the NFC championship.
I wish the Cards the best for next year. I love Bruce Arians as a headcoach.

That's the last time he asks McKelvin for any advice, I bet.

leading up to the 2014 draft Mike Mayock said it was the best draft he had seen in 10 years
NFL Top 100 players 2016

10. Odell Beckham Jr
13. Khalil Mack
14. Aaron Donald
31. Allen Robinson
50. Devonta Freeman
56. Blake Bortles
83. Telvin SMith
89. Allen Hurns
96. Sammy Watkins
98. Jarvis Landry
100. Derek Carr

1. What a great draft for the Jaguars 3 players they drafted (Bortles...Robinson.. SMith) and 1 UDFA Hurns are in the top 100 after just 2 years in the NFL.. When you add in they got 2 defensive players in the 2016 draft ready to be good likely.. right from the get go.. Jalen Ramsay and Myles Jack.. Jabguars fans are probably thinking they are poised to make a huge leap and contend for a wild card berth or win the AFC South

2. Mayock said it was a excellent WR class as good as he has seen and 5 WRs from that class are in the Top 100.. And Mike Evans who has caught 144 passes his 1st 2 years and Kelvin Benjamin caught just over 70 passes his rookie year must be close to Top 100 status.. Watkins needs better production to justify the trade that was made to move uo to get him

3. I think Anthony Barr( 7th overall) Ryan Shazier(15th overall) CJ Mosely (17th overall) all 3 linebackers could make next years top 100 list..

4. Jadeveon Clowney and Greg Robinson the top 2 picks have been huge disapointments... This draft wont be on par with 2011 or other great drafts unless those 2 start making a much bigger impact in the coming years..

2007 is probably the best draft of the past 25 years since that's the qualifier in this thread.

07 has 5 likely HOFers. Patrick Willis, Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Joe Thomas and Darrell Revis.

This draft class still boasts 3 of the best players at their position in the NFL, it was 5 before Willis and Megatron hung it up.

Not too mention Lynch, Beason, Weddle all also came from this draft who were top 5 players at their positions during their careers.
