    Balls....

Rule 2, Section 2 quietly has been revised to alter the pregame procedures regarding the submission of footballs for PSI testing. Previously, each team was required to make 12 balls available for pregame testing two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff. The home team also was required to make 12 backup balls available for testing in all stadiums, and the visiting teams was permitted to bring 12 balls for pregame testing at game played in outdoor stadiums only.

I can't wait to find out how the Patriots will cheat their way around this rule revision.

They'll probably add a head to the ball so Brady feels comfortable stroking... I mean holding it.

Well they are supposed to be given to the refs 2 and half hours before the game. Plenty of time for the Pats to find a way to get them footballs and deflate them to Tammy's desired PSI.

That's true, they've had a system installed for years doing just that.

The concern over balls becomes bigger.

I think the league should be in charge of all the balls. Take the balls out of Tom's hands.

All because the loser QBs today need to get their "feel" on the ball. Back in the day, they slaughtered a pig for breakfast, ate some fatback, and used its hide to make a single ball, hand-sewn by the waterboy. Then Otto Graham would throw seven touchdowns.
Lehner's history. He just doesn't know it yet.

I said "falsely accused/convicted" but there's really no final say on that. Also, he was never a fugitive and served ten years. Shortly after he was convicted, his mother committed suicide. His father died days later of cancer.

A few years before his conviction was overturned (represented by F. Lee Bailey), his father-in-law committed suicide. Days after being released, he married the sister-in-law of Josef Goebbels. They divorced five years later.

He married his third wife in 1969 and she convinced him to get into professional wrestling as "Killer" Sam Sheppard. He became a chronic alcoholic and die a year later at age 46.

                          What a train wreck.
