Does Byrd work in Rex D? I guess yes. Getting him for cheap would surely be nice. We are not exactly stocked at Safety.

Pick up Foles and cut EJ if and when Foles gets cut.

If Tyrod goes down for a couple of games again we need a qb who will give us a chance to win.
EJ is automatic loss

It says right in the article that Rob Ryan advised Payton AGAINST signing Byrd and then had to tailor his defense around his "talents." Apparently that cost him his job. Why would we want PussyFoot back?
