Here is the draft I just had with StanMarino. RB's went very early so I wasn't able to get 3 top RB's this time. Lets just hope there's no injuries. Culpepper was worth taking over Corey Dillion in the 3rd.

I always seem to have one of the better teams after the draft...

QB- Daunte Culpepper(3rd)
QB- Patrick Ramsey(15th)

RB- Clinton Portis(1st)
RB- Tiki Barber(2nd)
RB- Antowain Smith(9th)
RB- Duece Staley(12th)

WR- David Boston(4th)
WR- Amani Toomer(5th)
WR- Chad Johnson(6th)
WR- Marty Booker(8th)
WR- Todd Pinkston(13th)

TE- Dallas Clark(11th)
TE- Billy Miller(14th)

K- David Akers(10th)

DT- Tampa Bay(7th)

:bf1: Id look for a TE though

Outstanding draft nontheless

In the last draft i did, the 1st overall pick was Bucs D :puke: ... 1st overall!!!!!!

I'm not worried about TE. They went WAY to early in this draft. Clark is a good sleeper, and Miller should do just fine. He had over 600yds last year. One of them should emerge, if not then it's not too hard to find a TE for a game or two. After the Top 5 they're all about the same.

I'm very strong at WR. I'd like to trade a WR and Antowain Smith for a better 3rd back.

I could've had Dillon or Garner, but the potential of Culpepper was too good to pass up.

This one looks really good... a TE would put it over the top

I wanted a TE, but Gonzo, Shockey, and Heap were all gone by the middle of the 4th

I have:

QB: Kurt Warner, Kerry Collins

RB: Deuce McAllister, Travis Henry, William Green

WR: Eric Moulds, Laverneous Coles, Marty Booker, Josh Reed, Jerry Porter

TE: Jeremey Shockey, Jerramy Stevens

K: Ryan Longwell

Defense: Miami, Tennesee

If thats the case, then you got the better depth now.. thats why they created something called..TRADING!!! :D

go get yourself a player thats gonna put you over the top! use a WR to attract a Team without a good 3rd WR.

I don't think I'm in your league, I had drafted Patrick Ramsey but dropped him and picked up Kerry Collins

Dont think about it cuz it'll affect your good draft to go after him... id go after someone more realistic, take Bubba Franks for example..... maybe Todd Heap but he maybe a reach.

These are the top TE's from last year

http://games.espn.go.com/cgi/ffl/request.dll?RANKINGS&*****0=3&*****1=0&*****2=0&*****3=0

If Miller puts up them kind of numbers this year I'll be fine. Clark has the potential to put up great numbers too if he ever gets to camp.

I agree, he's a great pass catching TE but its his first year and he wont be the no.1 TE as Pollard is with Indy too.. He's gonna share passes at TE..

Miller was the 5th of only 5 TE's to have 600 yards receiving.

TypicalBill
07-27-2003, 06:42 PM
you need to figure out how to get one of those

Todd Heap
Bubba Franks
Shannon Sharpe

BillsFever
07-27-2003, 06:43 PM
I had the good draft because I didn't take the TE's early in the draft :snicker:

TypicalBill
07-27-2003, 06:44 PM
i know, you're team is very Solid and you're already in the playoffs... what im saying is getting one of those will give u a big chance of winning it all cuz your team would be complete

BillsFever
07-27-2003, 06:44 PM
Heap was drafted #24 in our draft. The guy must really want him.

Sharpe and Franks were 5th round picks. Without much of a dropoff I got Miller in the last round.

TypicalBill

i know, a steal nontheless

Are you that high on Chad Johnson Fever? I am in an 8 team league and he went undrafted. we have to start 3WR too.Think I should pick him up?

He had almost 1,200 yards receiving last year and gives it his all every game.

Once Kitna took over the job he put up great numbers. I'd pick him up if I was you.

BillsFever

He'd be drafted in the 4th or 5th round if he was more noticed around the league. You can usually get him as the 15th WR taken or so.

BillsFever
07-27-2003, 09:22 PM
He's definitely better then Keyshawn Johnson or Rod Smith who was picked after him.
