RIVER FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- Kansas City Chiefs video assistant Todd Weger hit his head after falling from an equipment truck and was being treated at a hospital.
Chiefs coach Dick Vermeil said Saturday he had no information on Weger's condition. He was taken to a hospital in nearby St. Paul, Minn.
Weger was injured Friday night when he fell off the back of the six-wheel vehicle near the practice grounds in River Falls, Vermeil said. It was not immediately known if the vehicle was moving.
"He was conscious at the hospital, then they took him to a trauma center in St. Paul to check him out," Vermeil said. "That's about all I know at the moment. We're all waiting to hear. Last night he was communicating with people."
