It was a dumb cut. 1st preseason game, and all clubs have a huge roster at that time.

An outright cut when you are allowed to have a ton of players, especially by a club with some question marks at that position, makes no sense to me.

Agreed. Would've given him a chance to redeem himself.

Reminds me of Dennis Dixon getting cut after getting one drive.

Very little of what is currently going on at One Bills Drive makes sense to me.

They cut him to bring in other players who might have a chance to help the team.

By all the accounts that I have read, Hankerson has not had a good camp. There is a glut of wide receivers still left on the team who have been playing much better. He deserved to go.

If he was beating out Salas and the other scrubs though, I dont think he would've been on the 1st chopping block. He must be having the worst camp out of all the wrs.

Not a dumb cut at all. It shows that the team is going to start holding guys accountable. If you are on the roster bubble, you better not make repeated mental mistakes.

He is also an older player and probably costs a little more
