Greg Little - Possible FA Steal?

Since the depth at WR for the Bills is a big question mark I think signing Greg Little was a very smart low-key signing.

I remember him coming out and everyone was very high on this kid's raw ability although he was far from a polished prospect.

He was chosen in the 2nd round purely on his raw talent and his RAC ability. He's like a RB once he catches the ball.

I don't think Cleveland was a good environment for him but here if he can grow as a player we may have a very solid #2/3 WR.

Watkins, Woods and Little can be a nice trio. Add in Goodwin, Lewis and Salas and you have a solid group with different skill sets.

Little has garbage hands. He's likely behind Goodwin, Salas, Powell, Boykin and Lewis at this point.

Barring injury I don't see how he makes the team.

I think at this point he is behind Salas and Goodwin but there's no evidence he's behind Boykin, Lewis and Powell.

Yes Little didn't have good hands in Cleveland but he also had no consistency with OCs and QBs. he's probably had like 10 QBs and 4 OCs in his time there.

He has a lot to prove but he has size and RaC and athleticism. We need redzone threats.

Little sucks. I'd rather see the roster spot used on someone like Dez Lewis, who at least has upside.

Highlights make anyone look awesome. I hope he is one who is a late bloomer in the NFL and fell to us, but I'm not holding my breath.

If Little could catch, he'd still be in Cleveland.

Let alone the fact he's been on 4 NFL teams and has 6 total catches the past 2 years. He couldn't even make the Raiders after being released by Cleveland.

He has hands of stone.

As of right now he appears to be 6th on the Bills official depth chart behind Watkins, Woods, Salas, Goodwin, and Lewis. They list him and Lewis as 3rd team. Powell, Boykin, and Listenbee are listed behind them under "Other".

I'm not sure what Easley's injury situation is right now, but I'm assuming he'll start the year on PUP? Either way at some point he'll take up one of the WR spots. I'm guessing they'll keep 6 WR, but it's possible they only keep 5.

I don't think the initial depth chart listed means a damn thing. Little looked slow in his routes this past Saturday but I don't know how the coaches view him. Camp reports had Little dropping balls many days. That's what got him cut in Cleveland

Powell looks far better and can return kicks.

Everything coming out of camp is that Powell and Lewis (besides being out a few days) have been the standouts of the depth guys. Boykin actually had an impact in the first preseason game as well. The best news for Little so far is he wasn't Hankerson.

Powell looks far better and can return kicks.

After watching the last preseason game (3 times!), I have to agree with you.

Returning kicks is a big point in Powell's favor.

It would really enhance his value to the team if he could become one of the gunners on punt coverage too.

Little has size (oxymoron) going for him and he may bring some run blocking to the table, but that probably won't be enough.

Agreed with Lewis over Little. Right now I would keep Watkins, Woods, Salas, Lewis and Powell with Boykin in the fringe and Listabee on the PS.
