Re: Karlos Williams released
Such a shame. Had very high hopes for him.Originally posted by OpIv37You guys, the solution is so simple. Find the crazy kids who are shooting up the schools and have them shoot people getting off planes from West Africa.
No more school shootings, no more Ebola.
Obama would have thought of this already if he wasn't a pinko commie Nazi queer-loving wetback-loving Kenyan Indonesian Muslim.

That's all bad, but is it bad enough to release him over? I didn't think so, or at least I assumed that he could work through those problems and the Bills would spot him some time based on his performance last year. But like you alluded to, there may be some things that we don't know about that contributed to the decision.
Also, we're still pretty stacked at RB. Somebody promising was going to have to go. I have a pretty good feeling about Gillislee and Jonathan Williams as backup or change of pace guys behind Shady. We got Bush for this year too, but I don't figure he'll actually rush the ball too often. Wilder Jr could make the team now, but I doubt it.

RBs are a dime a dozen and who wants an out of shape DWI guy?

Re: Karlos Williams released
It wouldn't shock me if no one signed him. Even if a team gets bogged down by injuries at RB, he can't play for 4 games after he's signed, so he won't really help.

Re: Karlos Williams released
I have a feeling this is going to come back to bite us in the ass, but I guess you could say that about 95% of their personnel moves, so I'm not exactly going to look like a prophet or anything."Miami played pretty damn good today and still got their ass kicked."

I mean, he can't help anyone until week 5, but he wouldn't take up a roster spot until then either. It'll be interesting to follow at least. I think there's a good chance somebody will take a flier on him regardless of the offseason he had. Someone will see him as salvageable after what he did last year IMO. He's a player I'll follow if and when he gets on another roster. Then we'll get an idea of what kind of decision this was...I wasn't expecting it.
