No way we pay for an oft injured player (~$8.3 Million) on the final year of his 3 year, dead cap money is real low (~$1.5 M)

Love the guy but this is the end of the road.

I can't see anybody trading for him, but release/retirement sure is an option.

SO the Bills would free up $6.8 million... Will the drama queens still claim they have no cap room to sign Gilmore

Yup swansong year for sure. Unless we do amazingly and he takes a pay cut to stay on a winner (lol right?)

If he's effective this year he will possibly be restructured. I don't know about a straight up cut unless he gets hurt.

Has there been recent year he hasn't been hurt or injured ?? He's a great guy and player, so there is a chance he stays healthy but it's pretty low.

He started 47 of a possible 48 games from 2012-2014. He's had many nagging injuries in that time, but it wasnt really keeping him off the field until last year. Now if he becomes a rotational player he can extend his career imo.

If he plays lights out this season, he's no going anywhere

he's so horribly underpaid at his current 3.5mil, that I can see the bills extend him rather then cut him. Especially if he can make it through the season.

Last year the Bills gave Kyle a one year extension adding the 2017 season to his existing deal. It wasn't a cap move either since the extension didn't save any money on his 2015 or 2016 cap hits. Why give him an extension two years early if there's no way they plan to keep him beyond this season? I'm expecting Kyle to have a typical good year and I agree with Ingtar that I think he's more likely to get extended for another year or two than get cut. I think he'd have to show significant decline this season to not be here in 2017.

I can see him being restructured or cut, most likely restructured.

No way he's traded, he won't have much value.

I'd rather not pay a CB that kind of money. Invest it in the O line and LB positions in FA.

Cut.

No one will trade for him.

I think he's previously hinted that he's going to retire after this year.

Either way Mortimer, he's gone.

I hear he's taking snaps at QB recently. Maybe he can lead Rex back into the play-offs.

I hope Kyle Williams plays well this year and plays out his contract.

Damn shame the gentleman spent the best of his career on our crap teams. I was down on him early in his career for being part of the problem, thought he was just overmatched, couldn't play the run, but looking back on it, he should have been a key cog for championship teams somewhere.

I only hope he retires before we cut him, and that he feels good about it, or if we do cut him, he finds a role somewhere for a championship run and stays healthy through it to gain himself a ring.

I've really come to appreciate what Kyle Williams brings/brought to the table.
