BUFFALO BILLS

Ceiling: 11-5. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor sees the field even better this season, receiver Sammy Watkins plays like an All-Pro and the Bills split with the Patriots. We would have gone to 12-4 had the club not lost rookie linebacker Reggie Ragland to a torn ACL and defensive tackle Marcell Dareus to suspension.

Floor: 6-10. What would send Buffalo spiraling back? If first-round pick Shaq Lawson, who is starting the season on the PUP list, fails to contribute, and the run defense is subpar sans Ragland, that could spell trouble. There will be times the ground game and defense carry this team. LeSean McCoy can't be missing game days.

I'll be disapointed in anything worse then 7-9, moderately happy with 8-8, if we are any better then 8-8 we'll be a playoff caliber team whether we make the playoffs or not. i don't think this is a Superbowl capable team, so i think 8-8 is the most we can hope for.

That floor is way too high. This team is 2-3 injuries from 4-12.

Tyrod and shady are the only really good players on that team. Sammy is also good during the six games that he dresses. We have dareus (at least we can hope that he does not loaf when not suspended) and a few CBs. Other than that we are below average. Including coaching.
With a Tyrod injury we are a 1 or 2 win team. And considering that our most important player cannot pass in the intermediate middle range says everything you need to know about that team. Our floor is 1-15

The season, ceilings, floors, all comes down to one player and how much he has developed. Simple as that.

It's never that simple. Tyrod outplayed expectations last year but the D let us down. It depends if the D improves in the 2nd year in the system and with Ed Reed as a coach.

So the success or failure of this team is based solely on 2 defensive rookies. WE are doomed.

Tyrod improving makes everyone better. Offense, defense, coaching..... Ed Reed ???.

Overly-optimistic celing = 9-7.
Floor = 4-12.
Most likely outcome = 6 or 7 wins, tops.

I'm going to stick with my offseason feeling, floor 4-12, ceiling is 9-7.

9-7 : Tyrod grows and stays healthy while Roman's offense evolves, the Ryans actually did give their D the best chance to succeed and it does, McCoy stays healthy and consistent and shows his game is unchanged, and they dramatically cut back on the penalties.

4-12 : Tyrod is in and out with nagging injuries or has a big one, People catch on to Roman, Rex's D is just as solved as I thought it was, McCoy has chronic hamstring issues, penalties all over the place, no discipline.

No way 11-5 though. 11-5 teams are much more dominant at home, imho. Haven't felt much of a home field advantage last couple years, and they don't have depth defensive guys starting or offensive line questions.

I think two minute offense issues, poorly disciplined play, questionable coaching, injuries and patchwork personnel keep them below .500 though.
