WARROAD, Minn. (AP) -- A well-known hockey stick company founded four decades ago by a family of Olympic hockey champions has closed, possibly for good, company officials announced.
Christian Brothers Inc. locked its factory June 30, company officials said Friday.
The plant, which employed about a dozen workers, probably won't reopen, said Dave Christian, vice president of hockey operations. Christian is a former North Dakota star who played for the U.S. Olympic team that beat the Soviet Union on its way to winning the gold medal in 1980.
