Yeah, you'd almost think Rob would replace his lap band in an act of brotherly love instead.

I thought he looked much fatter on the Rex and Rob reunited show.

They both did. He's going to be huge by Christmas and not for his coaching. If they're here another year together their legs will be useless and they'll be using modified golf carts.

Makes no sense to remove his lap band.

Why did he do it again?

Looks like Rex is making a few sacrifices for his brother and its going to cost him his job and his health

Rex will lose his job due to his own incompetency.

You need more than just a big mouth to succeed in the NFL.

I don't see how this helps his brother.

Remember how Karlos Williams got fat because his wife was pregnant? It's something like that.

At times I wonder if this whole franchise isn't some big Onion parody.

I guess this proves this **** show is real...

My favorite part is that he says they'll "figure it out" together.

Figure it out?!?

You've been around athletes your literal entire lives. If the reason you're still fat is because you CAN'T FIGURE OUT how not to be then you need to just leave civilization so the rest of us don't get infected by your stupid.

Isn't it pretty obvious that Rex did this because he was jealous how much his brother was eating and the lap-band was holding him back?

This what I hope happens to both of the Ryan boys...

Makes no sense to remove his lap band.

Why did he do it again?

From what I can make of it, to gain weight via overindulging to make Rob feel better about being unable to stop overindulging.

Rob won't be able to eat all the food Rex grabs from the table first.

Like cutting off his nose to spite his face, almost.

I hope that's not true. Not sure as if the author of the story didn't assume things and take certain liberties on a bogus analysis.

Could be Rex wanted to be able eat more, health and weight be damned.

Could be Rex wanted to be able eat more, health and weight be damned.

Probably, but mostly because Rob is around from what he's said all year. Rob had his removed because he couldn't adhere to the restrictions of it and it nearly killed him.

Great. Every other fan base in the league is talking about their team A)being able to start off the season 2-0, or B)bouncing back after a Week 1 loss, and we're discussing the coach's ****ing lap bands.

Unbelievable.

lumpy and dumpy, the bozo twins. they’re like the nfl equivalent of the kardashians. thanks to them, our whole franchise has this distracting reality tv freak show feel to it.

If that is their approach to weight control. They need to learn how supplementing your diet with crack and/or herion can help keep their weight under control. That makes just as much sense as removing the lap band.

I don't think that the perception of Rex in the locker room is anywhere close to what the perception is in the public eye or the media.

i can't speak to how the locker room views him. i can only comment on how i feel about it from the outside looking in. the guy is a complete oaf. he better get us a win tonight. i don't like his antics, i don't like anything he says, i want actual results to do the talking. everything else is noise.
