But so should Brandon and who ever else decided to go after a so-called defensive genius for a head coach when we could have just promoted the guy that made one of the best Bills defenses in a long time.
I seriously hope this team considers bucking the conventional wisdom when it comes to hiring a coaching staff and builds the team by getting a Wade Phillips or Gregg Williams to coordinate the defense, then grabbing a young up and comer offensive innovator to OC, and maybe Bobby April for special teams... Then let them have a three man vote on key decisions - go for it on 4th down, or challenge a play...
Either way, one more nail in Ryan's coaching career, hate to say it, but I'm all in on a suck for luck year. Let's give the next hc the best possible draft he could ever ask for.
Oh and Doug Whaley can only stay to build a draft board for defensive players only.
