Tyrod Taylor Is Not A NFL Franchise QB

    Calling Captain Obvious.

NFL defensive coordinators had the entire offseason to figure out how to stop Tyrod Taylor.

After last season ended, I realized that Taylor rarely made throws over the middle of the field.

Take away the middle, put a spy on him to prevent his running game, focus the secondary to the left and right sidelines and force Taylor to throw short.

    Checkdown Taylor.

Tyrod Taylor's tendencies have been exposed.

I really miss Jeremy White's All-22 game film analysis on WGR's website. The film doesn't lie.

In the past two games against the Ravens and the Jets, Tyrod Taylor has been unable to connect with wide open receivers.

I feel bad for Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods. Their body language speaks volumes.

Tyrod Taylor's biggest problem is his lack of height. He's 6'1 with cleats on and can't see over his own offensive line.

Russell Wilson is the lone exception to the rule. Short QB's don't last long in the NFL.

The Bills management and Doug Whaley obviously thought they had the next Russell Wilson on their hands and chose to give Tyrod a big raise even though they didn't have to do it. They were banking on Taylor's success from 2015, with the hopes of a long term contract that looks cheap in comparison to other franchise QB salaries.

Tyrod Taylor has a great long ball.

    So did JP Losman.

You don't like him because he's an empowered black man.

Still to early to call. Hell, I think Tom Brady or Peyton Manning could have been paired with Roman and Wrecks, and they would have looked like pop warner rejects.

I don't think he's an NFL caliber QB, let alone franchise guy.

All Whaley had to do was wait and see what happens.

Instead of waiting to see what happens, he became a hedge fund manager and gave Taylor a huge raise.

I think the Bills, and Tyrod Taylor would have been better off if Whaley didn't jump the gun.

            Money changes people.

Whaley took Taylor's incentive to win away.

Well, he has the incentive to make them pick up the option. He's just not very good.

I've been saying this since last year. Some people just didn't want to believe it. He is a great athlete that can throw a long ball. He is not an NFL quarterback.

I said he would win the starting QB competition last year, but I did not say Taylor would be a superstar.

If I thought Taylor was going to be a franchise QB, I would have posted about it this year.

Chucky thinks EJ Manuel is a mobile quarterback. I don't agree with that, but he still makes a great point. Is Manuel mobile? He was forced not to not run last season because he got hurt running the year before. EJ Manuel is not nearly as mobile as Kaepernick is. He's too big to run like Kaepernick. The only thing they have

Read post #6 in that thread.... And you think Cardale jones can be the next Ben Roethlisberger...

'If he can throw too, he's going to be a superstar in the NFL for many years to come.'

                          If....

Taylor can't throw to open wide receivers.

If he could throw to wide open receivers, the Bills would be 2-0 and Taylor would be the NFL's newest love story.

It sure as hell isn't looking good. If I was the owner throwing away millions on coaches, Dareus, QB's. I'm starting to look around, and I see one person that put me here, Whaley.
Pegs problem is he gets too close to the guys and meets with everyday and gleans from them. You recall the Shady deal. Where were they all when they got the call? Rex, Pegs, Whaley, on his yacht smoking cigars. Therein lies your problem.
Lou Saban: You can get it done, you can get it done. And what’s more, you’ve gotta get it done.
