Listening to him was refreshing. Now I know why he's been considered as a head coaching candidate.

I'm sold after one interview! Seems like a straight shooter who gets his thoughtful answers in quick.

Yesterday would've been even better...

Great. Considering our luck, this guy is good enough to ruin our top 5 pick next year.

This guy goes directly on the wall of fame if he can get this team out of the bottom 5.

The only way I would even consider hiring Lynn is if he opened the interview with 'The first thing I'd like to do is get rid of all of the Jet/Wrecks-stank on the staff and hire my own coaches', and I don't see that happening. So, hopefully...never.

probably how the bills brain trust described the Rex Ryan interview.

not saying you're wrong but my point is, **** straight shooting. I want results.

I wouldn't hire anyone from the current staff to be head coach. Clean house at the end of the season & not just push the dust under the couch.

Refreshing to hear a Bills coach talk football and not the nonsense coming from the Ryans. This fellah's been around football a long time. That's easy to see. Let's see if the players that he's inherited can execute likes he's talking about.

Id like to see how he communicates to players rather than the press. If players perform......

I'll believe we stumbled onto a Find when I see it. And that doesn't hardly mean one game.

Surely they didn't think Rex was a straight shooter. Right? He's obviously a cheesy, self promoting salesman. They probably liked his bravado, and thought his light hearted flamboyant manner was just what this culture needed.

Just a few minutes into that interview I think you can see that he's got more going on for a team than Rex does. He's has a confidence, without the big apple sized ego about him. I am impressed with how he handled the press. He seems to have given alot of time and thought for this day and he doesn't seem overwhelmed at the promotion nor does he seem bothered at the train wreck that he is dealt, that will begin the rest of his resume. He's probably more well spoken than any head coach since Marv. I hope he succeeds for us and for him. Dude seems smart, focused, charismatic, and unfazed by the situation.

He even wore the Bills gear the right way too.

I think the league was probably in favor of the Rex hire, as they figured he would A, help turn around one of it's more embarrassing franchises, and B, hire the first female coach.

Good PR given the Rice situation.

Help turn around what? Schwartz had the D doing fine. We needed a qb and an offense that could move the chains and score in the red zone.

The league was probably fine with Rex's circus coming here because it was better for ratings than the same ol' same ol' 8-8 Bills.
