Changed the momentum. Can't stand him. A real coach would never put up with the constant stupidity.

Hopefully he can make up for it in the second half with a big strip-sack or something.

He needs to be punched in the face and balls every time he has a stupid penalty like that.

He's playing great but that penalty is the reason the Cardinals are still in this thing. So stupid.

I thought Alexander actually botched that play....

I thought Alexander actually botched that play....

In real time I thought so too. On the replay, Alexander had him by the waist and it was Hughes who got the helmet.

In one of the replays it looked like he was grabbing for the ball. Instead, he accidentally grabbed Palmer's helmet.

Of all of Hughes' personal foul penalties, IMO, this was one of the least offensive. He was trying to make a big play and messed up. The ones where he's yelling at someone or pushes someone after the whistle are much, much worse.

Hughes was a beast yesterday. He was in the backfield all day, batted a few passes down, and almost always forced Palmer to step up in the pocket.

hughes was unblockable yesterday. the penalties are an annoyance and i'm not confident he has the temperament to reel them in, but i do enjoy the impressive play making this season. i also agree the palmer penalty wasn't so bad. honest mistake on that one. it's the after the whistle stuff that needs to end.

Yeah, his temperament is jacked the **** up. It's how he gets in trouble over-pursuing on screens and with dumb penalties. He's not a cerebral player.

But that intensity works, and it seems to rub off on the rest of the line.

The penalty on the Palmer helmet incident was unlucky. He does seem to have a knack for personal fouls, but his impact on the field far outweighs his negative penalties, IMO. You ask him to turn it down a notch, and he's probably not nearly as effective.

He's been more effective than I expected so far this season and, yes, relatively speaking this penalty wasn't as egregious as many of his other ones.

How's Kelvin Sheppard doing on his third team since leaving Buffalo?

As long as he cleans up the dumb ones it'll be ok. We are going to have to live with the borderline penalties because he's playing at a million miles per hour. He could have a 15+ sack season, so give and take.

Totally changed the momentum. They smoked the Bills after that

It did at the time douche. They went right down and scored. Don't tell me 90% of Bills fans weren't thinking here we go again . Things like that have led to the team unraveling in the past.

He had a great game and I'm glad we have him I just wish he would cut the stupid penalties

He does dumb things every now and then, but he also plays with tremendous heart and does not give up on a single play...

He got paid and continues to give it his all on the field, which is something I wish I can say about Dareus and Glenn...and also Gilmore, if they're dumb enough to extend him.
