It's rough to get there even with what you posted.

This team notoriously plays poorly on the west coast and there's 2 games out that way this year. They haven't beat Oakland in Oakland since like 1966. I do believe they won in the early 90s playing them in LA though.

And we also tend to underperform in games vs the Jags.

The majority of your wins you have listed there, I can actually agree with though.

I assume you're referring only to last year? We beat them the 2 previous times we played them, in 2012 and 2013.

I'm still hopeful we can get to 6 wins this year.

Why the hopefulness? I don't like seeing my team select 18th in the draft

Well frankly, it's because I couldn't give two s**** about the draft until the season is over.

I want to see them go into New England and beat them before I change my mind that they don't suck

or suck less but I agree with your point.

this is a rex ryan coached team. which means very little predictability from week to week. i see no point in theorizing how we’ll get to 10-6 when it will be struggle enough to reach 2-2 on sunday. jekyll and hyde performances are more the norm.

Just stop.

While I believe they may break the LA jinx, this is the Bills.

They will probably lose to Cleveland at home.

Who wants to bet this is what will happen:

Beat New England, LA, SF and Miami. Record 5-2

Lose to NE, SEA (5-4)

Rattle off 4 straight wins CIN, JAX, OAK, PITTS (9-4)

Poop the bed the last 3 games, finish 9-7, miss the playoffs, and get a mid first round pick.

It's The Bills. Literally ANYTHING can happen. If we woke up tomorrow and it was on the news that Rex Ryan's head was sewed to the turf at New Era Stadium, I would not be surprised.

If the Bills beat the Pats I can definitely see 10 wins being possible, but if Sammy Watkins ends up missing the season it's a lot harder to see that happening. I think the defense can become a top unit and that Tyrod will improve. I question if 10-6 will be good enough to get into the playoffs though. 10-6 isn't going to win the division. I see the Pats as a 12-win team at a minimum, which only leaves the two WC spots. I could see the Ravens, Steelers and Bengals all getting to 10 wins, and in this scenario we lose the tie-breaker with head-to-head losses to all three. And that's just the North. The South looks pretty weak right now, but the West should be competitive for those WC spots too.

Anyone that thinks this team gets to 10-6 is just stupid. Consider the source.

I don't want to dash your hopes, but my figures are this

L at New England
L at LA (Jeff Fischer loves beating us)
W Frisco
W at Miami (there is a team in the division that thankfully has more issues than us and its in South Florida)
L Pats
L Seattle
L @ Cincy
W Jacksonville
L @ Raiders (we have not won there in 50 years, and I don't see that changing)
W Pittsburgh, we may actually be able to beat them at the cap
W Browns (they are one of the worst in football)
W Miami
W @Jets, Fitzmagic to Fitztragic a yearly devolution in his passing game.

8-8 now and forever.

I'm still not convinced they have the stuff, but I didn't think there was any way they'd roll Arizona and smother the Pats at Gillette, making Belichick throw his tablet either.

I'm just going to enjoy it while it lasts and see what happens. Today stunned me, even without Brady.

Semi-optimistic post over. You can commence ripping it to shreds.Based on the past 3 games? Very possible. Based on the 1st two? No way in hell.

It's the Bills... perpetually mediocre and not consistently playing well enough to win... For that reason I can only say it's possible.

I don't think it's a given that we lose to Cinnci or Seattle either. But again, it's the Bills so we'd probably win both those games but also lose to the Fins twice or something ridiculous.

3 winnable games for many teams in the NFL... Laying an egg in at least one of them and losing a heartbreaker in another? Billspossible.

I will not lie, I had us at 1-5 at this point in the season. We HAVE TO beat Miami next week to have any shot at the playoffs. One game at a time.

Was figuring 2-4 myself. Keep telling myself one game at a time though too.

This Miami game is more important than it appears. With our next 3 games coming vs playoff teams (2 on the road) we HAVE to win this Sunday. Our chances over the next 3 weeks are not that great. We need this to be above the water for the final push.

I really hope we beat Miami. Unfortunately eagles cowboys are sunday night football that week so not a chance in hell we get flexed into that spot, but that will be the true measuring stick. I just cannot pick against the pats unfortunately the way the rules are now a days it caters to their offense perfectly.
