Williams signed with the Steelers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) practice squad on Wednesday, the team announced. Williams had previously worked out for theSteelers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) and Jets (http://www.nfl.com/teams/newyorkjets/profile?team=NYJ). He also flirted with a return to Buffalo where the former fifth-round pick rushed for 517 yards and seven touchdowns during his rookie year in 2015.

Williams can play the moment he is activated, having finished his four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on substances of abuse.

With LeSean McCoy (http://www.nfl.com/player/leseanmccoy/79607/profile) nursing a possible hand injury in Buffalo, it would have made sense for the Bills (http://www.nfl.com/teams/buffalobills/profile?team=BUF)to stash Williams on the back end of their roster in case of an injury. They can still pluck him off theSteelers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) practice squad at any time.

Interesting that we can still take him back unless he makes the Steelers regular roster.

The Bills should let him learn the Steelers offense and then re-sign him before we play them in December.

There's no doubt Karlos has talent but the sideshow he brings with him is a problem as is his commitment.

Good. He clearly is a head case, and this team does not need another one of those.

Honestly the guy has 4 kids at 22 years of age. It's called a condom.

His fiancee is a big mouth attention seeker who is probably going to cost him his career.

I was excited when I hear we might bring him back but after her assinine tweets I say good riddance.

They must have a heck of a food spread.

Pittsburgh has the right to elevate him to their regular roster if Buffalo does give him an offer.

My initial impression when seeing this was 'if he turns into Bettis v2.0 I'm going to puke', but he's going to have to do a life-changing 180 to even get a chance at the roster and hope he doesn't take any more hits to the head.

That might be where he wants to be and will serve him best in terms of getting squared away. His brother is on the team.

Still don't like his concussion issue though.

I can't see why a guy would go somewhere that he never has even the chance of making the gameday roster, let alone seeing the field.

Well, you're thinking he's last year's Karlos which he evidently isn't or he'd be making a gameday roster.

He gets to work himself back into shape where his older brother is a starter, around a quality staff in a top notch organization.
