    Finishing games

Man it's nice to see them finish these games past few weeks.

How many times did you say "oh man this is where they blow it" and then they put the game away. It's like watching a real team!

Yes yes, not that nonsense of giving up whatever you think you can afford at the moment, and finding out you couldn't. Even garbagetime, they're not rolling over.

Still am not going to get overly excited..yet...but absolutely agree that all good teams finish strong. Over time the players get used to finishing like that and it becomes the norm, not the exception. On to Miami.

I had to leave right after SF made it a one-score game (24-16) on a FG. Was shocked to see it end up 45-16.

You know, I have a co-worker who roots for the Ravens but also follows the 49ers cuz they were his team when Baltimore didn't have one. He said he was watching the Ravens and he was checking the score updates at the bottom of the screen for the Bills/49ers score and it was close most of the game. He was shocked that it ended up being so lopsided.

Over the years, there were a lot of times when the Bills had a solid D and no O. The D would keep it close despite lopsided TOP and no offensive production, but then they would fall apart at the end and we'd lose by 3 scores. It was nice to be on the winning side of that formula for once.

you could argue that the bills let teams stay in all 4 games longer than they should have.

I like the feeling that comes with converting third downs and extending drives more than once in a while. The Bills converted their first 5 third downs at least yesterday. I looked for a flag every time. How about that 3rd-and-20 Shady run?

Speaking of flags, it's nice to see some come against the other team in tight situations...or missed flags, like the Hughes facemask. I'm not so outraged then for some reason.

I could get used to this, but of course I'm not yet

This team is developing a winning mentality. When they have the lead they do not lose it. That's a credit to the players I think. They are ready to be winners. It's showing on the field.

This team has only one test left to pass as far as I am concerned. Can they come from behind? We weren't able to the first two weeks, but this is a new team. We will have to wait to see.

all this takes is one statement win against the pats vs brady at home and this team becomes a legit threat. if they fold or don't play the pats close, it's going to be a real slap back into reality.

The Ralph/bad coaching combo days may be over. This team plays all 60 minutes and has tons of room for improvement. The difference is they are buying in like no other team in the last 16 years, IMO. Stick to the plan and hope injuries don't derail this.

Yes, they could of made it a two possession game earlier then they did. But the other teams are also NFL teams. They are not going to Just roll over everyone. They made it so the other team had no "2 minute drill " to win it. Which is how bills lost a lot of games in the past decade. And yesterday's game was over with 10 minutes to go in the 4th.

Last 2 weeks have seen us "finish" the games in the 4th. To be honest I'd like for them to finished earlier. Seems like we let both SanFran and the Rams before that hang around for too long. Our 3rd quarters the past 2 weeks have been horrible. We have to come out of halftime ready to shut the door right then and there. Its great how they are finishing but lets do it earlier. The better teams will make us pay for it.

Its not so much finishing games. Weve been playing for 4 quarters.

Theres a sense of urgency from the start.
