Wow - that's big news. Frankly, I'm surprised he hasn't hung the cleats up - with all the hits through the years, he may well spend his life after football with crippling problems.

Bad tihings in the AFC North.

CIN is reeling with the loss of Jones, Sanu, S Reggie Nelson, their OC, 1st rounder CB Jackson, 4th rounder DT Billings, ST ace Peerman out, TE Tyler Eifert injured again.

CLE's usual problems.

BUF squaring off against the division this season is looking a lot more rosier...

he'll be good to go after the bye week.

Torn cartilage stinks, but assuming it's not a horrid injury you can be walking without too much pain within 5-14 days. he should be ready on the other side of the bye week. They'll shoot him up with some cortisone and wrap him in a knee brace.

This. When they say he's out indefinitely makes me scratch my head and think there's a possibility that he has a tendon tear as well. With today's sports medicine, a torn meniscus is a pretty routine surgery.

It sounds like it's just a minor clean-up procedure and he'll only miss the Pats game.

I thought the AFC North would be a huge hurdle for the Bills playoff chances, but they're falling a part right now.
