It's been reported that Shaq Lawson is expected to begin practicing tomorrow. I doubt he plays this week though. Not because of his shoulder, but he's missed so much time. He probably needs more than three practices to get into the swing of things.

No idea about Dareus. We'll just have to wait and see if he practices this week.

Bills head coach Rex Ryan said there was no timetable on when Marcell Dareus would return to the lineup. They just have to let the defensive tackle’s injured hamstring heal.
When asked about the chances for Dareus to suit up this week, Ryan was withholding judgment.
“We’ll see how it goes,” Ryan said. “That hamstring kept him out of this game. It’s crazy. We spent a third of this season already and he hadn’t been out there. It’s also a positive thing in that we have to get the big dude back. Hopefully it’s sooner than later. There’s really no timetable for him that I’ve talked with our trainers about or anything else. It just has to get better.”

Doesn't sound too encouraging.

BB.com has Rex's comments on the issue.

Reading between the lines it seems doubtful that either will play this week.

They are being very cautious with Dareus and Rex does not seem optimistic that he will play against Miami.

At the same time, the Bills would be stupid to show their hand before they have to. This is just media ****, so we'll have to see.

The defense is playing so well, there's no sense is rushing them in. Rex has also said Alexander is the starter now. Shaq can be rotated in, but he will not best starting. Alexander has earned that.

The defense is playing so well, there's no sense is rushing them in. Rex has also said Alexander is the starter now. Shaq can be rotated in, but he will not best starting. Alexander has earned that.

No they shouldn't be rushed in but this defense does miss Dareus. Our interior pass rush has been ok but not great.

We will need a better interior push when we face Tannehill and Brady.

I wouldn't play Dareus this week unless he's 100%. Re-aggravating a hamstring injury could set him back weeks. I just hope he can be ready for the NE game. They need all the help they can get facing Brady.

Actually the Bills can use Darius this week, as the Dolphins' O-Line, now have 5 healthy starters going, are one of the biggest in the league. You see what the Dolphins O-Line can do when healthy, which is bad news to the Bills. On the other hand, having seen them dominating the Steelers D line last week gives Rex and Co some time to analyze and come up with a better plan, instead of being surprised like the Steelers were.
