View Full Version : Bills promote WR Ed Eagan, cut T Ola.
5'10, 195. Was surprised for a moment they didn't activate Dez Lewis, but then again Hunter is filling the role they kept Lewis for. Doesn't really change anything, but hey.

Nice highlight film. He's far from hopeless. Put him in the slot. Ran a 4.43

Don't we already have him on the roster in Walt Powell?

Powell ran a 4.5 40, Eagan a 4.4, Powell is 6', 187, Eagen is 5'10" and 195. Powell is 24, Eagen 23.
So while Powell is way older, and way slower, he's way taller, where Eagen is way fatter but way faster.
Wanted to take the time to break that down.

The Eaganator.
I feel much better about our WR corps now, even though we had to sacrifice offensive line talent to upgrade. It's about time they started ignoring the fat men up front in favor of skill positions.

I really wish they'd get more use out of O'Leary though, he's almost both.

with TT at qb , I think the most important skill set with receivers if they are great blockers.
Only time we'll need them to catch is with the deep ball. Otherwise great 10-20 yards route runners/catchers are useless

If he can be Brandin Cooks for us that'll do...
Eagan's gone.
The Bills have waived WR Ed Eagan and TE Manasseh Garner. They promoted TE Gerald Christian from their practice squad.

That's kind of mean of OBD to promote a guy off the practice squad and then cut him outright a day later.
With one less WR in addition to Goodwin being out and one more TE it looks like a heavy dose of runs coming on Sunday.

If I was inclined to be pessimistic, I'd probably say it looks desperate, confused or at least disoriented.

"Desperate, Confused, and Disoriented since last millenium."
Should be on the OBD Letterhead around the office.

I don't know about anyone else, but I grew to appreciate Eagan in his time here.

Get him now and then cut Gilmore
