Best wishes to Marty and hope he gets great care. Difficult disease to deal with. My mother suffered from it the last five years of her life. We used to talk every month on the phone, but it was hard the last few years when she would not even know who I was or remember anything from her past.

My sympathies to the Schottenheimer family.

On a more pleasant note, I still get a chuckle watching old AFL films showing Marty and how they tried to fit his name on the game jersey.

I always wanted to see Schottenheimer coach the Bills. He was a good coach who never quite got the credit he deserved.

We've had a few experiences in our family with that horrible disease as well. It's very tough on not just the patient but the family around them.

Nobody deserves this, Best of luck Coach Marty.
