I still think Hackett will end up being a decent OC some day.

He should just be known as Hack the OC.

No idea, but he's a woeful QB coach.

I'm expecting Khan to clean house end of the season.

Uh... Blake Bortles is #9 in the NFL.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is #18

Tie Rod Taylor is #26.

Here's a video showing how his throwing motion has changed since last year. Something is wrong with him, and you could probably blame coaching for allowing it to happen.

Bortles is the absolute king of garbage time statistics, his stats mean nothing to me. I start him on my fantasy team in hopes that the Jags are losing by 20 points in the 4th quarter so he can get an extra 100 yards and a touchdown that he doesn't deserve.

I'm no fan of Lee, but Hackett is terrible. Recent pic of Bortles bizarro new windup : https://twitter.com/Fantasy_Guru/status/790574360713199616/photo/1

Bortles is saying he has no idea why. That's usually something for the QB coach, who would be, well, Hackett to date.

So even though I'm no fan of Lee, Hackett is worse.

He was on my bench.

Cam Newton better come through tomorrow after his bye week.

Bortles is just a much better QB than Fitz and TT. I wouldn't give Hackett any credit for those rankings.

Garbage-time stats for sure. Thanks for doing that for me, so I don't have to.

Also, helluva job predicting Boy Hackett as getting another shot to being OC, as you did in the other NFL forum. Happened right away...

I took Cam in the 1st in a different league that is QB heavy. He's been a huge disappointment, obviously. My only saving grace is that I sold my soul and took Brady in like the 7th round after everyone was afraid to take him because of his suspension. I have trouble sleeping at night because of this.

It's kind of peculiar it wasn't Marrone, who has the assistant HC title. So as the OL coach he's technically subordinate to Hackett, though as aHC he's above him. After being amazed at Bortles mechanics degrading, I'm just glad it isn't our convoluted problem, though I feel kind of bad for the Jags. Reading their boards, they don't get how the QB coach for a lost regressing QB is now supposed to fix the QB and run the ball more, because having been a QB coach, his focus has supposedly been passing game.

Jags are a mess.

Yea at first I was laughing because i was thinking that Hackett was marrones boss. Guess I was wrong

Piling up garbage time stats is just fine for a young QB. That's often where they develop their confidence. But his throwing motion sure is strange.

The NFL is funny. The Jags draft Bortles high hoping for a sure thing to turn their ship around. Then the Cowboys take a flier on Prescott hoping they never need to use him.

Wonder why the Jags always stink and the Cowboys are usually competitive?

I think Marrone held Hackett back personally.

Marrone wanted to play safe football on offense .........I think Hackett had the potential to be a decent OC

I think Hackett is very knowledgeable. Hos players supposedly respected his Xs and Os. Now he is promoted , so there has to be something about him.

Knowing and getting your players to do what you ask of them are two different things through . Doesn't matter if you have the brain of Peyton if you cant teach it properly and get your students to perform.
