    Good Trade?

The Bills really need help at WR the Vikings need desperate help at OT.

Cyrus Kouandjio is healthy and had a solid preseason, Henderson is back.

Do we trade Cordy Glenn to Minnesota for Laquon Treadwell? OR Trade Cyrus for Stefon Diggs or Charles Johnson?

This is obviously just for the sake of debate...

    Re: Good Trade?

These are both crazy scenarios. There's no way the Bills are trading Glenn and there's no way the Vikes are trading Diggs.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Yeah, Glenn not going anywhere... Cyrus for Charles Johnson is more realistic

I appreciate the debate however, as you know, trades in the NFL are extremely rare.

          Re: Good Trade?

player for player trades are so rare. and the bills shouldn't be trading. this team isn't a team worth saving and "trying to push to the playoffs". the only way to support it is if whaley, rex and russ plead the pegulas, and the pegulas say, "sure, but if this doesn't work, it's all of your jobs." because it won't work and a true rebuild could happen. the only hope that we aren't stuck in this ring of hell forever.

None of your ideas are realistic, nor do they make any sense.

7th round pick for Josh Gordon or 6th round pick for Torrey Smith or 3rd rounder for Alshon

Alshon deal not possible. He costs too much for us in contract money. I also doubt a 3rd rounder would be enough.

Josh Gordon is suspended indefinitely. I believe.

Torrey would work although I think he's making 7 mil/season.

Torrey Smith fits under cap no problem.

                      From another thread...
                      Here're the contract details... http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/san-franc...ey-smith-7777/
                      2016 Cap hit =Remainder of $6M
                      2017 Cap hit =$8M
                      2018 Cap hit =$8M
                      2019 Cap hit =$8M
                      That's not terrible.

With that contract thru 2019... We would be in a much better position to let Woods walk in 2017.

Career stats are good... Averages 49 catches/year, 17.3 yards/catch, hasn't missed a game in his career... But he's only caught 49% of his targets. That might be concerning.

I guess I'm mainly looking for him for this season (Wadkins, Woods, Goodwin out) with a potential for future... But no dead cap if cut. Just leaves us with lots of options for a low pick.

signing harvin just killed any trades. from a pure long term view, tradinga 7th rounder when you don't have a full arsenal this year isn't what this team needs. this high risk high reward moves aren't for a team that isn't imminently making the superbowl. you have a betterchance with a diamond in the rough in the 7th round than getting a guy who never got it to pick it up on a team that is totally listless.

No to trading Glenn. He's having a phenomenal year.

Yes to trading Cyrus for WR help.

How about trade Senantre Henderson and Reggie Bush and 4th round to NY Jets and get Brandon Marshall

and also trade Doug W to Jets for free

                              Why? Harvin costs nothing.
