That Was the End of Eric Wood's Career in Buffalo

I assume that injury is season ending and with his contract he is unlikely to survive next off-season's cuts.

I always like him however he simply struggled with anchoring these past couple of years.

Mark drafting a starting C in the 2nd round on draft list for next year.

Probably not 2nd, the Bills usually look to start that kind of shopping in the 5th

Rex just stated Wood broke his leg in his postgame presser

Wood is like Kyle Williams, both good but not great players and why this team not taken next step the last 17 years. Yes, there's blame to go elsewhere but applauding Wood and Kyle isn't getting us anywhere. Keep them around cuz of their contracts but not center pieces to the next wave of "rebuilding".

Really? Because Kyle was the one making a play when the defense needed one today.

            ???

KW was destructive today and has been all season. One of the main reasons Alexander and Hughes are the leading sack duo in the league.

Rex just said Woods is the best center in football. If he truly believes that I don't see them cutting him

He's a relatively cheap C with a broken leg which isn't career ending. Rehab and have for next year.

He's a very good player so should stay.

I blame Gruden for jinxing Wood.

He was saying about how Wood has started x amount of games for the Bills and hasn't been hurt.

About 5-10 plays later Wood gets hurt.

Kyle Williams has been one of about three or four bright spots on this team over the last decade. The others being Fred Jackson, punter (HA!) Brian Moorman, and the 20 or so games McCoy has played.

My point is Kyle and Woot are equivalent to guys like Darryl Talley and Jim Richter on those great teams of the early 90s. Above average yet not true full time difference makers if that makes more sense.

Kyle Williams should eventually have his jersey retired by the Bills.

What makes you think Eric Wood is unlikely to make the cut next year? This might be the dumbest thing I've seen since the end of the 2nd half last night.
