I'll say one thing about Donald Trump: he knows a thing or two about winning. Had he become the owner of the Bills, he would have built us into a winner. I could easily imagine that, after five years of Trump, Patriots fans would say, "The road to the Super Bowl now goes through Buffalo."

That being said, I'm hopeful that, over the long run, Pegula will also build us into a winner. There's a lot I like about Pegula, including his loyalty to the area and his willingness to spend money.

Like he did with the New Jersey Generals and his thought for NFL merger, and like how he's dramatically increased his wealth over the recent decade. I'm glad he didn't buy the team, it would still be going nowhere but more loudly.
