HAMILTON – John White was almost unstoppable as he rushed for 165 yards on 19 carries as the Edmonton Eskimos topped a feisty Hamilton Tiger-Cats squad 24-21 in the 2016 Eastern Semi-Final Sunday afternoon at Tim Hortons Field.
A first half dominated by the Eskimos led to a furious comeback by Hamilton in the second half but with under two minutes left in a tie game, Zach Collaros tossed an interception that led to a 9-yard Sean Whyte field goal with 10 seconds remaining.
The Eskimos will now travel to Ottawa next Sunday to take on the Ottawa REDBLACKS in the Eastern Final at TD Place.More....
