All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Karlos Williams has been suspended 10 games for violating the NFL's policy for substances of abuse, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.Williams was signed to the Steelers' practice squad in October. He was also suspended for the first four games of the season for another violation of the substance abuse policy. The second-year back had some success as a rookie, scoring seven touchdowns for the Buffalo Bills. He came into training camp overweight and was released by the Bills not long after his initial suspension was announced.Williams hasn't been active for any games this season and may never play in the NFL again after this latest ban.
Re: Karlos Williams suspended 10 games for marijuana
Here come the "what an idiot" comments, and I won't disagree.
But what a waste. I doubt he'll get another chance in the NFL after such a promising start.
The thing that bothers me is that the guy is only 23 and already has 4 children. He blew his chance at making a better life for them. Can't believe he was busted again so soon.
Would like to pick up another guy like him to complement Shady.
Why? We already have Mike Gilislee, who has played well...I think we might have won that that Miami game had we ran him more than like five times. Shame. It's also a shame that Gillislee left practice early with a hamstring injury today, what with McCoy's thumb injury and all.
[wibbitz id=”b023affc9c2de448a9d6e8f77543db22d” autoplay=”true”] Injuries just keep piling up for the 2016 Buffalo Bills. In Sunday’s 16-12 victory over the Cincinnati…
There is also Jonathan Williams, who has promise to contribute. Don't forget about him...who can you forget about? Probably Reggie Bush.

The 1990s Bills were a mix of sleek athletes and guys that just tried harder. Whaley will never get that. He needs to pay more attention to Kyle Williams play. He's a sneaky mix of both.

We need ONE of those guys to be healthy.

I like Gillie and agree about the Miami game, but a spot guy that runs with real force would be nice. JW hasn't shown anything, IMO. Yeah, Bush can go and might as well take Harvin and Clay with him.

Agree. Gillislee is 5'11, 218 (I like him too), Karlos 6'1, 229. Always wanted a bruising straight ahead 'tween the tackles power runner. Then again with concussions everywhere, I'm starting to wonder if it's feasible anymore.
