We don't win without Sammy, so he gets one. Shady, Dareus.

Pretty much everyone TD hates played well.

Wrecks. Stupid challenge. Stupid waste of a TO on the EJ hard count. I don't care that neither ended up hurting us.

Carpenter and Gay.

BALLS:
Shady
Tyrod (12-18, 2TDs hard to not give him a game ball, even if he was mediocre, he did his job)
Tate
NRC
THE REFS - horrible officiating, but it went our way.

GOATS:
RG/RT - both couldn't run or pass block all game long. Of course they did their job just once and shady took it 80 yards to the house, so this is a weak goat.
Carpenter - nice miss

Nice to see the play action pass again. And the deep ball.

Watkins was so good on that deep ball, recognized it was under-thrown, slows down, then bursts with a push off after the defender initiates contact. If he makes first contact there's a much greater chance of drawing the flag, but pushing off after the defender runs into to you rarely draws one. And then that burst to recreate the separation. Wow. I recognize why we can't throw to him every time he's single covered (we did that under Roman, lots of quick points and 3 and outs don't help the D very much), but I'd like to see a little more than one shot. Especially when they dared us to do it all game.

Watkins, gets a ball for one play.

Dareus chewed them up and ended a couple drives.
Special teams gets one too. Except for the missed extra point, they were a difference maker today.

You give TT the gameball for being partly the rason was.close vs a crappy team?

Might as well give Hughes the gameball. He was mediocre too.

What a catch!

That was a great sign by Doug Whaley, along with Alexander and Zach Brown.

Yeah I was going to mention Hunter. He hasn't done that enough in the NFL, but it was nice to see.

A. Lynn, or whoever made the halftime adjustments, esp. the blocking adjustments.

It worked.

Jax was living in the backfield the entire first half.

***** about Tyrod or the offense if you'd like, but they've scored 25 or more points in 8 of the last 11 games, including 6 of the last 7,

So 100+ yards on 19 carries on top of the 2 TDs and 2pt conversion you're conveniently leaving out? Yeah I'd say that's a game ball.

And the run to ice the game. If 25 doesn't deserve a game ball no one does.

Those three should get game balls every week. Those are the three marquee players.

Game Ball?

Have Bills fans been beating down so bad the past 17 years that they forgot what having a good game is?

Accounting for half your QBs passing yards in your first game back from a serious injury? I'll take it.

Balls :
-McCoy. It's apparent how critical he is to this offense.
-Gus Bradley. He is a terrible head coach and one you wish you could face weekly.
-Taylor. He is what he is, and that was good enough this week, no turnovers, a couple decent completions, and a win is better than a loss because of it.
-Dareus. Played like we know he can, enough.

Goats :
-Game officials. They were terrible for both teams, this is getting old.
-Defense besides Dareus. Jacksonville was something like 26th in rushing and 16th in passing, Bortles has a terrible throwing motion, and in a home game we looked evenly matched with a 2-8, woefully coached team.
-Russ Brandon for forcing Whaley to bring Jordan Gay back again because he's clearly obsessed with the dashing kickoff specialist who won't respond to his cards and flowers with or without the pretense of professional impropriety caused by roster spot. If only he can keep watching him warm up a few more times (heartfelt sigh with both hands to chest).

Game ball - the lady sitting in the suite behind me who gave me a plate of wings and pizza after her daughter slid the window open and screamed in my ear. No biggie but the food was welcomed.
Dareus

Goats - #30 CB White, filling in for Darby. Torched all day.
1st half playcalling.

Sure it was a biggie. A game ball to them too. That's the kind of nice stuff that's becoming uncommon. I'd have dumped the plate on your head and called security because you tried forcing your way into the suite and grabbed my plate while I was eating.

"Look at him, he's covered in my food and there are greasy fingerprints on the window."

That's just me though, I can give credit to people who aren't me sometimes for being nice, which I wouldn't be.

Balls.

Shady. Got stuffed time and time again but in the end he found his spots and boom. Electric player
4th quarter Tyrod. Ran, passed and looked the way we all want him to look. If only he could sustain it
Defense. A few brain farts here and there but overall a somewhat decent outing
Tate. Another week in which he nearly breaks one. He's due. He deserves it.
Refs. Yet another grotesque outing from this useless bums. But for once we managed to be on the correct side. Make no mistake we dodged some bullets thanks to the ineptitude of the zebras.
Victor7. For correctly taking the under on the 2.5 games line set for when Harvin was going to get pussy hurt.
SW14. Good to have you back.

Goats
1st through 3rd quarter Taylor. JP Losman redux yet again. Absolutely clueless. He's regressed from last year and I'm one week closer to actually wanting him benched. This is not an endorsement for EJ by the way. Its just to light a fire under 5's ass so he can start thinking about kissing that lofty deal goodbye because that ****ty play ain't worth 10% of what he signed for.
Carpenter. Bum.
Harvin. Pussy. 2 games is all it took.
Meeks. Cut him. Bum, sooooo bad. Make him this week's Duke/Blanton. Where we find these "safeties" is a mystery to me.
Calling a time Out after the lame 4th down draw attempt that everyone in the world knew was coming. I don't know if it was Lynn, Rex or EJ but what an idiotic thing to do. Just take the delay of game penalty and save a time out. Luckily we didn't need it.

On to Oakland for the one game I don't think we have a shot in hell winning from here on out.
