Well, since he never played TE I think it is safe to look closer at his combine results. You guys complain about everything I swear. The kid was a 4* TE prospect in high school and rated #1 in the nation........a little google goes a long way sheesh.

I'm all for the experiment, but the guy has been a street free agent all season I believe, so why the hell did they wait to sign him off of Detroit's PS almost immediately after the Lions signed him? Why not sign him to our PS two weeks ago?
Logan signed with the Lions' practice squad -- as a tight end -- on Monday. And although it took him a while to come around to the idea, he's committed to making it work.
The Lions have already discussed a long-term plan with him that extends beyond the final five weeks of the regular season. They're invested in giving Thomas the time he needs to figure out what he can be at the position.
"I know nothing," Thomas said. "So they put a good plan together for the rest of the season, and going into the offseason. I'll go to a training facility and take it a step further there. And hopefully by the spring, I'll have a pretty decent grasp. And then I'll do the best I can rolling into next year.
"It's not just a right-now thing. It's over the rest of this year and into the spring type deal."YardRat Wall of Fame
