I was at the game and saw that. My friend mentioned how high schools are banning this rubber tire from being used do to possible cancer risks.

Over half of all NFL stadiums have natural grass, 18 teams in total, 3 of them play in a dome with a retractable roof.

The game of football was meant to be played on grass, in the mud and dirt.

NRG Stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium and University of Phoenix were constructed with retractable roofs that allow direct sunlight on the grass when the weather permits.
