WR Michael Floyd cut by the Cardinals

Looks like they parted ways after his DWI http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...est-dui-charge He's subject to waivers so doubt he'd fall to us but would you go after him? As he's set to be an UFA after this season.

He was great at ND but hasn't lived up to expectations in the NFL.

I'd bring him into camp if he's available in the off season and see if the change of scenery helps, but for this season there's no point.

      No

Come spring, there will be 2 dozen plus vet receivers to pick from...if you want that option.

He'd be worthless to use unless we all of the sudden have someone who's willing to throw him the ball, especially this year where our playoff hopes are all but gone.

I think we'd be better off spending our resources on QB/OL/DL/S before we try to get toys.

I'm just weary that Woods will be back next year so like to find someone that could be a viable replacement.

Did someone wake him up behind the wheel to tell him he was cut?

I'm not sure that replacing Robert Woods 40.15 yards per game is going to be that difficult. Don't get me wrong, I really like the guy and think he's a good receiver but we're just not able to use him properly. It goes back to needing someone to get him the ball first, that should be our main concern. I think until we get that fixed, the other skill positions just don't matter as much as they do for most teams with capable QBs.

Needs to clean himself up, and put football aside for a while.

He was an amazing college football player. One of my favorite Irish players ever.

But bringing him here with no QB to throw to him means we will not be at the top of his list.

Tyrod just needs to throw him a bottle of Jack and he's all set.

Seriously, he doesn't need football right now.

He had some drinking issues in college too. He needs some help. I hope he gets it.

The Bills could try and become the leagues most dominant and delicate WR corps if they got him and Gordon next offseason

Reminds me of Jericho Kotchery. I hope things turn out better for him.

Good thing we didn't feel like we could use help at WR. We don't need a criminal like that in the AFC East. Oh wait...

The Patriots claimed receiver Michael Floyd off waivers Thursday, three days after he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and failure to obey a police officer.
