All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This is only a test
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

What sucks is the place I usually go to when the game isn't on home TV, the OTB at 711 Central Ave, is closed. I get my own little TV there. So, I'll have to find a bar if I want to see it. I'm not sure whether to stay within a mile or 2 or go to downtown Albany where the Bills fans go to McGeary's.

Bills Backers bars are great. My buddy used to go to one in Manhattan that played 'Shout!' after every score.
Fun sidenote: After moving to LA, he contacted them to get it so he could play it at his wedding. He put the original version on the DJ's "do not play" list. Only the TRUE Shout! song was allowed.

McFadden's? I went there to watch a Bills game about ten years ago when I was in NYC to record an episode of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. It was awesome.
Which do you mean by true Shout song? The Isley Brothers or the Scott Kemper version that plays at the venue formerly known as The Ralph?

You'd be welcome to come down and watch it at our house, but sadly it looks like we're not getting it either.

The Scott Kemper version, of course. The Isley Brothers can suck a dick.
(Nah, they're cool. But the Bills Shout is the one true Shout to rule them all)
EDIT: And yes, McFadden's is the bar. I knew it was Mc something but couldn't remember. I only got to go visit him once while he was living in NYC, but it was the weekend Bruce and Ralph were inducted into the HOF. Went to McFadden's for both that and the game vs the Titans the next night. Good times.
