It's 330 how is carpenter still on the team

Any kicker better than him is on a roster already. Just look at the guy who Cincinnati got to replace Nugent-he choked the game winning field goal Saturday night.
The best way to replace Carpenter is draft the best kicker & don't wait until the 6th round to do it because he'll be gone. Gostkowski was drafted by NE in the 4th round.

Well let us see. At one time our coaching staff believed they needed a kickoff specialist due to Carpenters skills and abilities...then they needed a roster spot and cut the kickoff specialist. Now you are surprised Carpenter is struggling?

In retrospect if Gay handled the kickoff in the fourth it might have been 14 more yards we had in our favor.

Don't blame Carpenter. Blame the FO for not being able to find someone better. It's not like we didn't know this was a problem coming in.
