The Bills are currently 12th in the draft order and based on the final week results could pick as high as 9th or as low as 16th. The tie-breaker for draft order between teams with the same record is SOS. Head to head or anything else doesn't matter. Here is the current order:

1. Browns
2. 49ers
3. Bears
4. Jaguars
5. Rams
6. Jets
7. Chargers
8. Bengals
9. Panthers (6-9, @ Bucs)
10. Eagles (6-9, vs Cowboys)
11. Arizona (6-8-1, @ Rams)
12. Bills (7-8, @ Jets)
13. Saints (7-8, @ Falcons)
14. Colts (7-8, vs Jags)
15. Vikings (7-8, vs Bears)
16. Titans (8-7, vs Texans)
17. Bucs (8-7, vs Panthers)
18. Ravens (8-7, @ Bengals)
19. Broncos (8-7, vs Raiders)

I'm pretty sure that the Bills will still have a weaker SOS than the Broncos, Ravens, and Bucs if they all finish 8-8, which is why I say the lowest they can pick is 16th, but I'm not 100% certain. At least not with the Bucs. I don't think there's any way the Bills SOS can better than the Broncos or Ravens.

I don't think the Bills will lose to the Jets, so I don't see them moving up at all in the draft, but I expect the Colts and Vikings to both win. My guess is they end up picking 13th.

I read the Bills could draft as high as #9 with a loss and as low as #15 with a win. I can't believe it's another Christmas where the only thing to talk about is the Bills draft position. And to worsen it we have to know that Doug Whaley could likely squander it on another Sammy Watkins-type move.

Jeez. The Chiefs are fun to watch at least.

The Titans have a really weak SOS at .464 compared to the Bills at .496, so I think it's possible that they could pick #16 with a win and a Titan loss, but that would also require the Saints, Colts, and Vikings all losing too. I think picking 13th or 14th is the most realistic scenario.

Sigh another year another "where we going to draft" thread. :teary:

I should also mention that the Rams first pick actually belongs to the Titans and the Browns get the Eagles first pick because of the big trade ups last year to get Goff and Wentz. That doesn't impact the Bills draft position though.

They will be picking 16th. They are going to blow the Jets out, because they always show up big in meaningless games.

Even if they beat the Jets, bad teams like the Jags and Bears would still need to beat decent teams for the Bills to drop to 16th. I wouldn't count on that happening.

Once the Arizona win is final the Bills will officially be picking 10th since they lost and the Eagles won. That's a higher pick than I expected.

this, Arizona is winning big so Buffalo will pick 10th over all.
