Would be pretty ridiculous to risk an injury (which would force us to take his option) when we know the guy is not the answer.

About the only smart thing we appear to be doing.

Besides, who doesn't want to see Whaley's golden boy, EJ, goof around the field fumbling, bumbling and throwing uncatchable passes.

The guy they had to teach to take a direct snap from Center?

I think it's almost a certainty that Rex would have been able to coach one more game except he refused to do that with anyone other than Taylor. It's likely the reason he was fired today instead of next week.

The only advantage to making the move to E.J. is if you want to play for draft position. Tyrod is not the answer, but he is far superior to E.J.

The Bills organization just proving they have no idea what they are doing.

I don't think he is the answer. Ultimately, I just want to see him play for my own personal entertainment this Sunday. I've seen enough ground balls and dump-off passes from EJ and Taylor to last a lifetime. No need to see anymore of them.

look im not gonna be surprised when EJ is not only on this roster but playing significant time in 2017. you heard it hear first. 4 years of a raw guy practicing against nfl defense. i think he has ALOT more then tyrod .

i think neither is good enough. EJ will bridge the time to the next DP qb. i just have a weird feeling

Cardale isn't close to seeing the field as a starter, that would be a dumb move. That being said he is one twisted knee in practice away from being the starter.

Good riddance to Tyrod. Saw enough of his act after the Steelers game.

It makes sense financially, but it's a complete trash move by a trash org. They're the ones who offered up this ridiculous injury clause, ****ing awful.

Maybe Anthony Lynn thinks EJ is better?

Maybe Anthony Lynn thinks EJ is better?

The reason has been explained already and is official. If Tyrod gets hurt in the Jet game then the Bills are on the hook for the whole $30 million (or whatever it is). They are sitting him to take that possibility off the table.
