Doug has gone through two white head coaches... apparently not able to get along with either. The one guy he's been pimping... well he's a black guy.

EJ Manuel
Tyrod Taylor
Cordarrelle Jones

all black.

Ryan Fitzpatrick out...

I'm starting to wonder.

OK, since you popped that cherry, his coaching preference last year was Hue Jackson. This year, Anthony Lynn.

If I were Kyle Williams or Eric Wood, I might be consulting my realtor.

He was forced to bring in Orton. And Tuel and Cassell were never anything more than temps.

and one could argue he was forced to bring in Tyrod but I know you'll find some way to blame Whaley for it.

He had the perfect situation with Tyrod. If he panned out, Whaley takes the credit. If he didn't, he blames Rex.

I've thought about it before. I'm not quite there yet. But there's some stuff to make an argument for it.

The optics aren't good. They've drafted two white guys since '13---TE O'Leary and PK Hopkins.

I can't say that the notion never crossed my mind...it has.

It could even be a subconscious thing, but I don't like to draw conclusions like that without more direct proof. I don't know as if I'd rule it out, either...but I wouldn't go around calling him one.

Funny how this is a topic that be can discussed in an adult manner in a football forum, but in the Spin Zone all hell would be breaking loose. coastal (and anybody else that dared infer a non-white can be racist) would be getting skewered for being a racist themselves for bringing it up.

It's hard to say that he's racist in nature by his choices, the majority of athletes in all professional sports are now black.

Just the way professional sports in general has gone.

Not QBs or Head Coaches. And yet, the overwhelming majority of his choices have that in common.

I don't think so, it's easy to think that based on his moves and draft picks, but I can't believe he would let racism interfere with football decisions.

In his private life though, it might be true, but so it's the majority of people.

Ha, ha.

If that won't shut 'em up (myself included), then I don't know what would...nothing will to some people...

The question was still alright to ask, though IMO.

Dating and wedding interracially doesn’t mean you’re not a racist.

She said 'yes' to a guy that still thinks EJ Manuel is 'the answer' and used two first round draft picks to snag a WR...what do you think her wonderlic is going to be?

No, it's called coming to a conclusion based on available evidence.

And that evidence is pretty clear.

But on the other hand...

Funny too how people tend to take everything overly serious and sort of miss the obvious sometimes, which then turns into what it parodied.

But, notice he got rid of Hogan, but we have plenty of black receivers ? Did he get rid of Kiko because he wasn't a black LB. Did he keep getting Jordan Gay back just so he could throw off the ratio of black to white player acquisitions to mask his intent ? Interesting...

Trying to derail a thread about racism by dragging in LGBT issues...I see what you did there.

And, more importantly, can she throw the seam pass down the middle of the field and hit a 15 yard out?

Seems legit. I'm all for getting the best players no matter what race but drafting for the sake of color while other better players are on the board is dumb. I still feel the Jones pick was a total waste.
