Barrett is terrible. We'll certainly take him late.

'Bama & Clemson, looking forward to it.

Though I'll miss JT Barrett.

Gotta admit I thought Watson looked really good last night. He's not a perfect prospect but if he's there in the middle of Round 1 then I absolutely expect him to be part of the discussion.

I'm just not sure I like him as part of that discussion.

I'll pass on Watson at the pro level, although he is very good for Clemson.

Going to be an interesting game, Clemson is one of the few teams in the nation built to beat Bama...very good defense, especially the front seven (can give the Tide's oline fits and get to Hurts), a QB that can run (IMO Bama needs to play more zone to prevent Watson from having open field to take off) and throw (still think Bama's secondary can be exposed if a decent QB gets time). At some point, the Bama D isn't going to score, or create turnovers, or pressure, and that's going to put that much more onus on Hurts to carry the team.

Washington did a great job last night and exposed Hurts a little bit (get a pass rush with four, drop seven, he's not a very effective passer, and has to rely on his feet..kinda like somebody else we know pretty well) while completely taking Ridley and Stewart out of the game. If it weren't for Scarbrough going Beast Mode Kiffin's offense was mostly ineffective.

I hope someone drafts Watson before us because they fall in love with his athleticism etc. More specifically I hope the Bears take him.
