Denver is probably the most appealing coaching destination on that list, although I could see a lot of people butting heads and not wanting to work with Elway.

I could see McCoy ending up back in Denver.

Wow, I didn't see that Kubiak is retiring. That's big news. I'm not sure how appealing the Broncos job is right now considering they have big questions at QB and there will be a lot of pressure to win. Which won't be easy considering they play in such a tough division.

Sounds like at least a few teams are interested in trading for Peyton out NO. Though its said that if the Saints deal him away they will likely promote Dennis Allen to the head job.

To me the most appealing job may be in Jacksonville. That teams has a lot of talent and may be only a piece or two away from being a contender in a weak division. The issue is that you have no idea what Bortles is at this point and if that missing piece is the QB then you're basically the Bills at the end of 2014.

Read somewhere they're interested in Marrone.

Heard that too. Could be a very wild coaching carousel based on how the dominos fall.

I'd still think Denver. Elway might be a tough interview, but if you get past him he has a remarkable record of getting pieces and fitting them together under the cap.

No doubt there, but the intense scrutiny from day one isn't exactly appealing.

The pieces are there for the taking...DC Bradley and OC McCoy.

Alex Marvez from Fox mentioned that a number of teams have already expressed interest in McCoy. He specifically mentioned the Jets.

I did hear somewhere today (can't remember if it was the game broadcasters, or NFL on Sirius pre-game talk) that Chan was probably out in NY.

Imho, Chan Gailey's biggest flaw was that he never want to develop a QB for his system. He likes vets and inevitably always has barely adequate ones.

He is the "Get Off My Lawn" of NFL coaches.

If I'm a top OC candidate there's no way I pick the Jets. That offense needs so much help.

Unless you believe that Petty/Hack is the potential answer.

Getty ImagesThe Falcons earned a bye week in the playoffs by virtue of their prolific offense.
And that also gives offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan a chance to interview for jobs.
Via Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com, Shanahan is tentatively scheduled to interview (https://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/815910172719771649) for the Jaguars opening Friday.
The Jaguars have already interviewed former coach Tom Coughlin, and figure to make a lap through the usual suspects of young, offensive-minded coaches.
The Falcons led the league with 540 points scored this season (33.8 per game), and Shanahan has clearly been a big part of that, which will make him an in-demand name this week while the Falcons wait to see who they’ll play in the divisional round.

Josh McDaniels to interview with Rams, 49ers, Jaguars

Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has been the hot young assistant before.
This time, he can perhaps afford to be more choosy.
According to multiple reports, McDaniels is expected to interview with the Rams, 49ers and Jaguars this week.
The interest from all three is reasonable and expected, as all three either have a quarterback that needs work or no quarterback at all.
But there are timeline issues at play as well. The 49ers are expected to hire a General Manager before they hire a coach, and have requested permission (https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/815912851294605312) to interview Patriots personnel man Nick Caserio as well, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Doug Marrone ended last season as the Jaguars’ interim head coach. Next season, he could be the Rams’ head coach.
The Rams are requesting permission from the Jaguars to interview Marrone, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Marrone spent two years as head coach of the Bills, going 6-10 in his first season and 9-7 in his second. He surprisingly resigned after his second season and has been in Jacksonville since. Prior to coaching the Bills he was the head coach at Syracuse.
The Jaguars are also expected to consider Marrone on a permanent basis, and there have been reports that if Sean Payton leaves the Saints, New Orleans would consider Marrone as well. Marrone could be a busy man as coaching interviews get underway.
