Good luck to them, have to keep that temporary 27,000 seat soccer stadium full.

He sooooooo NEEDS Wildcat Lee to "help" Rivers get it right. I can see Rivers excelling in designed running plays.

I am shocked by this.

Don't worry, though...I'll get over it. But I'm actually shocked at the moment....

A coach nobody wanted to run a team nobody cares about. Match made in heaven.

That says something about the importance of the gate to the overall profit picture of the NFL...I think.

I think so Brain but don't they normally put tarp over seatsbin an NFL stadium for soccer games?

The call is already out to Karlos Williams.

Lets see if he even tries to hire any of the Ryan brothers to be his DC or part of his staff

Reportedly going to try and keep Ken Whisenhunt to run the O and bring in Gus Bradley to run the D.

Has Bradley ever run a 3-4? The Chargers arent built for the 4-3

Good for him if he gets that staff in place. He's a solid coach and I hope he has major success.

That staff would be far superior to anything we could throw together at this point.

Bosa was a DE at Ohio State. He's their cornerstone player so I don't see it being an issue.

The transformation you've gone through over the past month has been really interesting.

The transformation you've gone through over the past month has been really interesting.

People have said I'm a homer. Im guessing you're calling me a pessimist now.

Im neither however, I call it like I see it with the Bills. I believe they got this wrong and only went with McDermott over Lynn to prove they could think outside the box.

The solution this time, IMO, was inside the box.

This whole thing has been a mess since the firing of Rex and how it was handled. Then Whaley actually admitting that Lynn was promoted to HC because Rex recommended it. Pegula therefore couldn't swallow his pride and had to go with another candidate despite it being the most clear and logical thing to do to promote Lynn with his knowledge of the offense and progress he has made with it.

Lynn to me was a Ryan guy and didn't impress me as being incredibly smart. He's a mountainous failure set to happen over there. San Diego's future the next two years is beyond grim. I think the stadium thing may push River's out, he could be had.

That's saying a random statement with no explanation...

I remember when some posters thought it was a big mistake not to give Perry Fewell the full-time gig after his interim stint too. I could have lived with Lynn (depending on his coordinators), am good with McDermott (depending on who the OC ends up being) and wish them both the best, especially Sean though, obviously.
