@RapSheet ugh. Childress doesn't even call plays in KC and Olson. Sorry but why hire ANY1 from Jags? Their offense less consistent than ours
    This response is interesting.

I don't care for either. Why would you when you have Musgrave floating around out there? But I kind of trust the new HC to make the choice. He's been around long enough to know these guys pluses and minuses.

Childress called a good O in Minny. Whatever.

Everyone will be drinking the haterade until opening day anyhow.

Wow. Elway got them both! I didn't know that.

They did. Musgrave was also hired as the QB coach.

I specifically don't want him for his time in Minnesota. Homers will see what they want to see, I guess.

I like the experience of the staff if it's childress. It's not a bunch of the coaches homies like the rex staff.

Let's pull a broncos and get Olson as QB coach.

                    Re: Childress or Greg Olson

Brad Childress was head coach in Minnesota from 2006 to 2010. Enough of a trial period?

                    2006: 6 - 10; #23 in total offense

                    2007: 8 - 8; #13 in total offense

                    2008: 10 - 6; #17 in total offense

                    2009: 12 - 4; #5 in total offense

                    2010: 6 - 10; #23 in total offense

Ok. Maybe I am wrong. I would be willing to give the guy a chance (not that my opinion matters). A lot of his success came from having Brett Favre in 2009 - 2010. But not all. I remember the Vikings fans giving him a hassle.

Childress would be my preference. He's done a good job in KC working on their passing attack and has made Alex Smith look like a top 15 QB.

Also another guy with previous HC experience.

I'd be OK with Childress, I like the idea of previous experience as coordinators and head coaching being brought in. Assembling the 'best' or 'most qualified' staff from what's available is a helluva lot better than loading all of your clowns in the car and bringing them with you.

I think its a bit comforting to know that McDermott will have his hands all over both sides of the playbook, unlike our previous coach who was watching the clock all day long and couldn't wait to get out.

Another thing about Childress is how he likes to use both the TE and RB's in the passing attack.

                            TE Kelce - 85 Rec, 1125 Yards, 4 TD
                            RB Ware - 33 Rec, 447 Yards, 2 TD
                            RB West - 28 Rec, 188 Yards, 2 TD

That would indicate a new QB for the Bills this coming fall. TT could not locate the TE with mapquest.
