I was checking out Super Bowl ticket prices last week. When Dallas was the top NFC seed, the secondary market prices were over $5,000 a for the cheapest seats, after fees. Now they're below $4,000. The possibility of Dallas playing in a Super bowl in Texas had the prices sky high. With the Cowboys out, prices have normalized to their usual level.
Even if you hate the Cowboys, this is real evidence of their popularity. Once they dropped out the Super bowl prices dropped 20-25%.
