I honestly liked Gilmore early in his career, but CB's who have faced pass happy offenses are coming out of college in bunches, yearly. "Show me the money" seems awful cocky for a guy who struggled to stay healthy and was then often torched in a defense designed to supposedly highlight the dazzling skills of a good corner in press coverage.

I'm not a huge fan of Gilmore but I'd take him back for the right price. Unfortunately, it's the 21st century NFL and CB's routinely get overpaid in FA. He can use those cleats to walk right out the ****ing door.

No reason to do this, apart from a lapse in judgement. Not like these cleats will see him any more money that he would have without the cleats. Did it add to his popularity? An idiot might think so...

He never struck me as particularly bright either, for that matter. Such a DUMB stunt is not exactly conducive to Bills fans wishing him the best either.

That says volumes about him. Personally I think he's not going to be happy without some Josh Norman type of contract and hasn't earned it, especially THIS season. Someone else can overpay.
