All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

He took over for the injured Dalton for the last 3 games 2015 with a 97.1 qb rating. CIN will have a fistful of comp picks this draft with the loss of Marvin Jones, Mohamed Sanu and safety Reggie Nelson. A nd comp picks ca n now be traded..
A 2018 #2 or #3 should do the trick.
We are all crabbing about this year's poor qb class, so why not work a deal?

"You're not going to find a more classier, down-to-Earth person away from the field than Marv Levy. He's a guy who's pretty much made me what I am today as far as a professional player and a person."

I like McCarron and if Tyrod is gone would definitely consider it. Don't want to give up too many picks, though, and I'd certainly consider Landry Jones also.

I've watched him play in college and the pros and I don't see the fascination some have with McCarron. Pros: good game manager, fairly accurate, pretty good leader. Cons: Not a very strong arm, not mobile. He's a guy that in a best case scenario becomes an average starter, will never be a franchise player. If you put McCarron's skill set together with Taylor you'd have something but each by himself is just kind of...meh, not good enough as starters, as backups excellent.
I know I beat this horse to death but I'm so so so not interested in a QB like that. I could care less if this team wins 5 vs 9 games, that's NFL purgatory. Give me a guy under center with the upside to win a SB. If not, I don't want to waste picks on him.

Landry Jones sucked in big games at Oklahoma. Can't stand him. 27 and has won 1 game in his career. He beat the Browns.

Yes he did, but nobody is exactly saying he's the answer either. Especially if Tyrod doesn't come back, unless the strategy is going to go draft only (big mistake, IMO) than somebody from outside needs to be brought in to compete and given an opportunity, and I would give that opportunity to Jones over others such as Hoyer, Glennon, Barkley, Mallett, etc. I'd consider Foles also.
