Using the DVR, I delay watching the Superbowl for an hour or so. Use NFL.com to check game progress, That allows me to screen the commercials to view the humorous ones, fly past the idiotic ones and zip through the (usually) crappy half -time shows.

I don't remember the last decent halftime show. I keep hoping for George Strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and Toby Keith, but they never go in that direction.

You know she's going to go over the top to make a point, like she does every time. So the spectacle isn't part of the show or the shame it brings because it panders to the lowest common denominator?

Yeah, that I can agree with. In a world where Orange Joffrey is leader of the free world, I think it's a near-certainty that this ****'s gonna get political, and the backlash against that is gonna be pretty significant.
