This is an argument I made on BBMB, which was deleted because the initial thread was apparently labled as speculation. But as an organization, do we deserve him? I feel like we treated him like crap and almost sabotaged him while being here. The fact that he came out and said, all they ask me to do is block. Then the fact that every good game he had was with Watkins gone, meanwhile when Watkins came back, was followed by some of his least targeted games. We saw this with Lynch and Bledsoe. Did our organization not want Woods to succeed past Watkins? I know its an extreme opinion, but our team has a history of under utilizing a certain player in order to justify a draft pick. Woods is very similar to Golden Tate, but the fact that Woods was used as a blocking WR, just seems wrong. Especially when he was arguably are best route runner, possession WR, and HEALTHIEST WR the last few years, something more had to be going on

This is one of the problems when you have a QB who looks at his 1st option, and then panics and runs all of the time. Your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th option receivers are going to get next to no looks. Woods is a better receiver than we made him look, I think most would agree with that.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that we don't deserve him, but if I were him I would be looking at teams that can pass the ball before thinking of re-signing in Buffalo.

if i was woods i wouldnt dream of resigning here our QB sucks. taylor doesnt look at him for games at a time.

there is no point in having robert woods on this roster with taylor as the QB

Woods is a possession receiver that is the victim of a QB that doesn't throw over the middle. Look at the year he had in 2014 with Orton. Guy made a ton of catches. I really want to see what guys like him and Clay could do with a traditional pocket QB.

Woods has zero chance of returning here. I think AZ will sink their teeth into him. That bridge is burned, the dude played hard on run plays and was never rewarded he was visibly frustrated almost his entire tenure in Buffalo.

The team that pays him the most "deserves" him.

We'll see how good he is elsewhere, if that's what happens. Could be that being drafted by Buffalo resulted in a bigger payday, or even a larger extension of his career...we've seen that happen before. Hard to tell sometimes...

my prediction is simple.

belichek and the patriots sign him. and he catches 100 balls next year

Do we deserve him? What the %$#@ kinda question is that?

The real question is, can we afford him?

That answer is...no.

Draft someone else. As much as it wasnt his fault that his nos were not impressive, he can easily be replaced for a fractoon of what he is going to get with another team.

Anyone with his skill set shouldnt want to be playing with Tyrod anyways.

Is a fractoon somebody who got infracted?

Actually if you read the post, you'd notice that I am talking specifically about how he was treated. Not that we should bust ass to resign him. I do believe that he would of been more willing to take a cheaper prove it deal if we treated him like an actual WR, but we didn't. That's why we don't DESERVE him.

Let me simplify it even more for you. Even if we had the money, he wouldn't sign here. We treated him like crap and he's free to move on and better his situation

You act like the only reason he's not coming back is money.

Communist? Buffalo is by far the most greedy place I've ever been to.

Yes, something more was going on. Woods was sat down in the past because of his displeasure with the Bills' organization. They should have tried to peddle him last year to CIN, who lost Marvin Jones and Mo Sanu while Woods was was still under contract.

CIN inked Brandon LaFell who did a decent job for them.

Opportunity lost - now he walks and BUF gets zilch.
