    Saturday Winners/Losers - WR,TE,QB

The official source for NFL news, video highlights, fantasy football, game-day coverage, schedules, stats, scores and more.

The drills can only provide so much intel, but the NFL combine can make or break a quarterback's draft stock. How this year's class faired in Indy?

Of the top 5 QB's. Watson stood out. Wasn't overly impressed with the others. Kizer was all over the place with his throws. Yuck.

I did like what I saw of Nathan Peterman of Pitt. Good, not great arm but every ball is right on the money. Accurate ball placement. Peterman threw for a career-high 308 yards and five touchdowns with zero interceptions on 22-of-37 passing against Clemson in the 43-42 upset in Nov.

WR Zay Jones of East Carolina continued his rise from the Senior Bowl. We now have his position coach on staff. 2nd round pick? Great hands and routes.

The TE's averaged 4.65 in the 40. That is insane.

Nathan peterman highlight video through his 2016 season at PittSong levels instrumental

Peterman highlights. Everything I read about him screams poise and playing big in big games with a very average team around him. Seems like a good fit for the Bills and looks pro ready.

Everything I've seen from him and heard about him screams "Day 1 back up". And I don't mean that in a bad way.

He can already play under center, he can get the ball out quickly, can usually hit guys in stride and can usually find the open receiver. I didn't see his deep throws yesterday, but his out patterns were all on target. But like Watson, they looked to take longer to get there, in comparison with say, Mahomes. (sp). A number of those on target passes looked like they could have been jumped by an NFL cb. (I thought that about Watson too.)

Pitt ran a very run heavy offense, with a very good Oline, but they still averaged 40 pts per game.

IDK..if I'm a GM looking for an NFL ready back up in the mid rounds..he'd be getting strong consderation. Whether he could go beyond that..tough to say.

I like Pederman, but I can see him succeeding better without being thrown in the fire. If NE dumps Garoppolo, that's where I'd expect him to end up for some reason.
