We own Tyrod's rights during this time frame. We can trade him to another team willing to pick up the option and only suffer a cap hit of under 3 million.

San Fran, Chicago and Cleveland are all high on Taylor.

My guess is one of these teams will want to trade for Tyrod in order to avoid jockeying for position against the other teams in the race. They will also keep what is probably a team friendly contract compared to what they would have to give up for him in an open bidding war.

Cleveland's 12th pick seems most probable, but with how bad the niner organization is with their zero-experience gm, we might win the lottery and get the number 2 pick for this guy. Something to monitor.

His contract is great for a good quarterback. His contract is not great for Tyrod Taylor.

IMO we'll be very lucky to get a 3rd rounder for him.. no way we get 12th pick for him.

I guess u didn't read this part. A team like the browns may be inclined to trade one of their multiple first round picks if they think Tyrod is a franchise QB.
